Mis deze kans niet ! The Zeppelin type gas airship, named 'Yokoso Japan' and registered as JA101Z, will start the European tour on 13th June 2004, followed by trans-Russia flight. It will visit in 10 countries (France, UK, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Luxembourg, Czech, Denmark, Sweden and Finland). After that it will enter into Russain airspace and will across Siveria. The Yokoso Japan, JA101Z, will arrive at Japan in the middle of August. In 1929, the Graph Zeppelin made a long flight from Germany to Japan. But this JA101Z is smaller than its elder sisters. So it needs to rest every 500-900 km. So it will take more than 14 days to acorss Russia. Anyhow, this flight will be one of the biggest adventure in this year. For preparing this project, I had asked many balloonists to help or assist. Thank you for your kind cooperation. Your information or your assistance at the preparation stage were and are countless. I wish you will enjoy to see our airhsip in your country. You can see the flight path at the following page. www.hotelbravo.ch/ja101z/e/route_e.htmlSoft Landings, Masashi Kakuda European tour coordinator of JA101Z

Hello,
A small but nice event indeed and on July 11th there is even an airshow at Calais. According to Scramble the airshow takes place the same weekend as the Koksijde open door but other websites say it's the 11th. Anyway I can't go, i'll be in Duxford that weekend;D
Greetz,
Kristof
