Today there was @ scramble @ KB with 2 F-16AM's
They took off arround 1745 and landing was @ 1830.
Anybody for the callsign and off serial??

F16's flew above Weelde-area for some fifteen minutes at very high altitude. This about 18h10. Probably to burn fuel... Very unusual for a sunday afternoon! Because of the altitude... no serials...

Yes, they burned fuel. The scramble ended just a couple of seconds after 2 31sqn pilots were airborn. Because they are too heavy with all that fuel, they have to burn some before to can come back home... This happens quit often and costs a lot of money (fuel...).
In my humble opinion they should have to charge a fine to those airliners that don't keep radiocontact so long, causing a scramble to go airborn.
