Just would like to know who's going on Friday to Gilze-Rijen and to Le Bourget on Saturday? Would be great to have a meet with some fellow members ;D as we had some meetings in the past at Semmerzake , Bierset , Kleine Brogel ;D Most of you already knows how I look like so if you see me you're very welcome for a chat and a drink ;D

I will do both!!
Breda on friday, and le Bourget on saterday. I asked 2 days off just for that. I tried to get free tickets for the week-days (in LBG) from my work, but there was nothing left.... only free tickets for the weekend (well, not bad at all..) It's since Koksijde last year that I attended an airshow. I just hope I won't be stuck in traffic jams in Antwerpen on friday. As usual for me at LBG, I will leave early to have a quick spot at CDG.
PS: Sunday I have to get up at 0330H in the morning for work
See you maybe this weekend!

I'll be at Gilze at friday, saturday LB.
If you don't want to be delayed in the traffic around Antwerp.....take Brussels, there follow the E19 to Antwerp. Take exit Wilrijk-Mortsel. From there you have to follow direction E34 (you pass Deurne Airport) and follow "Turnhout") There you came back on the Highway, direction Breda ;D

I will be at Gilze on Friday, but no Le Bourget for me I'll be at Gilze at friday, saturday LB. If you don't want to be delayed in the traffic around Antwerp.....take Brussels, there follow the E19 to Antwerp. Take exit Wilrijk-Mortsel. From there you have to follow direction E34 (you pass Deurne Airport) and follow "Turnhout") There you came back on the Highway, direction Breda ;D Greetz, FB The alternative you propose is a valid one, but I think that, if you travel early in the morning, the trafic problems are somewhat limited. Personally I would stay on the E19 and go over the Ringway. The time lost should be less than the time lost by going over Deurne to the E34 (and back to the Ringway). But, the only way to find out is to make your own choice and hope you made the good one CU at Gilze ! Jumbo

I will be @ Gilze AB on saturday. The only - still flying - Consolidated PBY 5A Catalina in Europe will be there only on saturday. Jiha! Living in the north of Belgium, just above Turnhout... it's only half on hour from my place by car! So this time I'm the lucky one ;D Local papers tell me that they expect more than 300.000 people, and with the "tropical weekend" ... it may be a lot more... After having read the topic about the dutch guys @ Cazaux, I hope there will not be too many "dutch spotters with big lenses". ;D ;D But being in Gilze... we certainly will meet some dutch guys with big mouths I hope to take some nice shots however. Bring your sunmilk and I hope to meet some of you! Taking a refreshment together will be welcome with the temperatures they expect.
