Aer Lingus is to renew his long-haul fleet, with a budget of 1.7 biljon € they want to purchase maximum 14 ac's.
the choise goes between the Boeing 7E7 and the Airbus 330.
AerLingus already operates 14 A330's, but they need the new ac no earlier than 2008, that's why the mutch more fuel economic 7E7 (who is availlable from 2008) is a serious candidate.
