Hello all,
On saterday May the 28th I made a trip along some small but nice airfields in Northern France. Final destination was a balloonmeeting at Hazebrouck but unfortunally it was cancelled .
First stop in France was Lille/Bondues, located between Lille, Tourqoing and Roubaix. The following were noted on a shorts visit:

The next stop was Vitry-en-Artois, south-west of Douai and the homebase of the Belgian autogyro club 'Icarus'. Unfortunally all three hangars were closed and nobody was around. Only one gyrocopter was parked outside:

Third halt was Arras/Roclincourt, situated north of the city, the aeroclub hangar was closed but the microlight / glider hangar was open. The following noted:

Then the Hazebrouck balloonmeeting. After waiting for more than an hour the organisation decided to cancel the meeting due to the windy weather conditions . While we waited one engine equipped glider came circling over the soccer fields where the meeting was held: D-KBRE...Stemme S-10 (10-3) overflying
On the way home a stop was made at Dunkerque/ghyvelde but nothing was outside and the hangars were closed.
