here are my shots of this event take you're time, it's a rather large collection tfp.fotopic.net/c618902.htmlit was a fantastic trip, in fact you should need the 2 day's to do it good ; 1 day for the static and 1 day for the flying display

Thx Vonsmalhausen. It was the first time I tried takeoffs and landings at a shutterspeed of 1/160. Luckely I always shoot fully manual and never on Tv or Av, cause the light was not 100% correctley metered with the camera... Indeed Djamald, non-British weather present Album

you really did a lot of the static! yep, i did it in a hurry, was just to late to catch the first t.o. of the Lancaster, and could take the t.o. of the Brittish C.17 from behind the crowd . it's a super event ; next year i'll go for the 2 day's ; it's not possible to enjoy the static and other merchandise stands along with the flying display on 1 day. + the static has better light in the afternoon when most of the flying occours, so next year : 1 day static, 1 day flying ;D

Hi all,
Did you also had a good time at the RIAT. After a few years I'm not comming home of a disapointing RIAT with regular participants. A realy good job from the organisation of the show. One thing is clear the commercial cirus like the fair is growing and growing every year.
Nice to see Fabke at the breakfast hut on the way to the show in the early morning. Nice show, great shots, sun and sky..
Best regards
Arno

Great shots Faan and Von Smallhausen! It really was a terrific show in my opinion and a good job of putting together an interesting programme despite a lack of 'exotic' flying displays we had grown accustomed to at RIAT. There weere some moving moments with the missing man C-130 formation in honour of the crew the RAF lost in Iraq and the beautiful formation the Red Arrows flew with a duo of Spitfires. It was also nice to meet some members of the forum in person like Fly Fort (great job on the trip!), Von Smallhausen, Falcon,... and of course Fabke himself. I just finished going through my shots, I'll get my site updated one of these days but since it's a busy period, I'll be like a former prime minister and not let me get pinned down on a date I'll just leave you with this cute shot: The newest member of the Red Arrows accompanying the team next to the runway

Not a full list of people I ran into overthere, I'm sure I missed a few others. So much to see over-there...
