Unfortunately, due to a very late arrival at the base (11:25 instead of 7AM) I missed a lot of the interesting action at Zeltweg this past Saturday Things only got worse in the afternoon with a 2-hour break in the programme because of a thunderstorm and heavy rainfall. Still, here are some images I made on June 25. More at www.wheels-up.beVampire Patrouille Suisse put on their usual precise display. As did John Back in action: Asas de Portugal. I really liked their show and would like to recommend them for a Belgian performance Hopefully one day they'll figure out how to switch it on and let it run on its own The last one, the sky wept over the retirement of the Draken.

Reversing the tables compared to last week in Holland then, VSMH yep ;D this time i choosed the right day aldo there was a haze hanging over the field, not getting better with all those smoke from the displays , it still was a good (and VERY hot) day only at the very end off the day it was getting overclouded and dark ; by 19.00h it was getting to dark to take good pics so i couldn't take much pics of the static who during the day was overcrowded and by the time most people where getting out, darkness fell as usual the Swiss F18 did a superb display, showing there was lot of humidity in the air tfp.fotopic.net/p16799052.htmldisplay of a team who's pilots have a average age of 60, and that could be seen on the outstanding quality of there formation flying tfp.fotopic.net/p16799069.htmlanother great display was this of the two gliders who performed mirror-flights on music ; very, very gracious tfp.fotopic.net/p16799071.htmlthis lady gave us another breathtaking performance ; she actually walked up and down the wings tfp.fotopic.net/p16799077.htmlalmost all great aerobatic formations where present Patroulla Aguilla tfp.fotopic.net/p16799039.htmlRed Arrows tfp.fotopic.net/p16799042.htmlPatroulle de France tfp.fotopic.net/p16799055.htmlFretche Tricolore tfp.fotopic.net/p16799064.htmlPatroulle Suisse tfp.fotopic.net/p16799030.htmland then the Draken, probably for the last time seen tfp.fotopic.net/p16799038.htmltfp.fotopic.net/p16799067.htmlbut off-course there are way to much great moments to list all here so have a look here tfp.fotopic.net/c594177.html, here you can find lot's more off a fantastic show, almost as good as Payerne last year, only the static was a bit less

Brilliant! You really had a much better day out and I love the pictures you made there That Connie is a reall looker isn't she? Well, much more so than the girls that wing-walk in Austria, I think I like those from the Utterly Butterly in England better, but perhaps we should ask our City-Parade expert Fabke what his opinion is on this matter? Thanks for the pictures.

For those who were on Zeltweg : NICE SHOTS guys I love that Draken For that only one who was on Luik for the CITYPARADE....... maybe next year U can ask these girls to be a member of this great forum. Than we ask the girls to go with us to the Airshows and they can open the show. (that would be something else than the "Fanfare of Sanicole..." ;D ;D ;D ) C U , FB
