Apart from Smash , will there be other members at Florennes? To Smash , I don't know how you looks like but you will recognise me at my cap with "Fabke" on it and my father will be with me , I drive a lightblue Peugeot 306 , like it looks now the weather will be nice , hope it doesn't change by Thursday

i'll be there, on the outside , will come with a guy who's never come before to Florennes, so i'll be playing the guide probably whe'll meet at the landings and yes, weather forecasts for thursday are very good let's hope the curse off the spotterday bad weather don't apply this time

Cool, maybe we'll run into each other. Wind from eastern direction on Thursday so it'll be in the field with the bulls.

Is it possible to take photo's of the aircraft ( even if the wind is coming from the east ) if you are on the other side of the airfield ? So no with the bulls but at the fence ( spot 3 )?

Yes of course , you can take photos when they take off , the landing isn't that easy but sometimes when they landed they roll out to the end of the runway

So no with the bulls but at the fence ( spot 3 )? these pics i took last spottersday, they where all taken at the "fence" with 08 in use. tfp.fotopic.net/c475285.htmlbut for landings you will have to face the bulls this time ;D there are no Phantoms, and the other planes cut off in the midle of the rwy, apart off maybe a exception.

And since today, May 12, I also know that Harriers can have extremely annoying landing habits Indeed , those birds didn't land on the runway but vertical on the taxi-way , but you must saw they gave us a small show , after hovering they made another fly by (behind us , so with the sun in your face ) and then landed vertically
