Hello Fabke, There are no helicopters based at Knokke but I assume that the operator, Crown helicopters, provides their heli's when required. Diksmuide based Heli Promotions promotes pleasureflights from Knokke aswell on their website. Hangarage or refuelling also not availble.
P.S. On Saterday 16 & 23 Oktober there should be an open door at the Spiere/Helkijn heliport. This is lokated in the industrial estate 'Yzeren bareel' next to the N50.
Regards, Kristof

I don't think there going to be visitors, just the locals OO-HPP(EC.120B), OO-SAT(Bell407) & OO-VBA(Bell 206). But you never know...

Apparently no open door at Spiere . You can subscribe yourself for a visit to the heliport but I guess this includes one of the pleasureflights. Minimum fee is €30,00. More info on www.copyteam.be/home.htmRegards, Kristof

Hello,
The Knokke Heliport will be used by visitors of Knokke itself. The local authorities wanted to prevent the owners of a heli to land in their garden and disturbing neighbours.
In the future the heliport will have to move due to an expansion of the cemetery. I think most traffic will be there during summer.
