During the departure from Florennes last Friday after TLP 2005-5 five 493FS Eagles climbed out. Number two "Reaper02" had a major fuelleak from the right wing. Listen to the comms between the flightlead and the emergency aircraft at <299.875> Aux Radio, TLP Ops [231.8] and Florennes Approach 255.15. Reaper02 landed at runway 08L, shut down the aircraft and jumped safely out of the jet. listen to the comms: www.dutchmil.com/

must have been a exciting experience for that pilot fuel leaking out the wing in the direction of a jet-engine, is not what i call a comfortable taught

I only saw pictures of the incident, it looked sort of like the Thunderbirds had switched to the F-15 with that stream out of the plane. Quite hairy! Cool to hear the accompanying soundclip.
