* Also this year the airbase of Kleine Brogel was able to organize an international spottersday for the Operational Integration Exercise. Of course the 31 Tiger squadron particpated in this exercise.
* Organised in the framework of the 175th anniversary of the Belgian Independence (obtained from the Netherlands in 1830), this year traditional July 21st military parade and fly pass was rather large. In total over 60 aircraft passed over Brussels. 9 F-16s of Kleine Brogel participated in this event, 3 of them were flown by the 31 Tiger squadron.
* On the 1st of August the nosewheel of the FA-83 collapsed on the taxiway, in the final turn to the runway. Pilot was Major Geert Dedecker, commanding officer of 31 tiger sqn. the F-16AM remained on the taxiway for inspection. F-16AM FA-83 was the one of the 2 M3 upgraded F-16s @ KB.
* Every year Aeroclub Sanicole organizes a marvelous airshow at Leopoldsburg (Hechtel). All participating planes arrive and depart from the Kleine Brogel airbase. For the airshow Sancicole planned a special Tiger Formation, which means 4 F-16's of the 31 Tiger squadron (FA-106, FA-123, FA-124 and FA-132) gave a performance on the 7th of August.
* On the 21st of April last year, the 31 squadron celebrated their fraternization with the French 1/12 squadron from Cambrai. In this cooperation 4 Mirage 2000's came to KeeBee around 3.55 pm. The Raglan D flight fought against Tiger 21-24 and Tiger 31-36.

* Again Dirk Voortmans caught the FA-87 and FA-94 in Nato TigerMeet 2004/2005 color scheme in front of his lens...
Memorabilia
* I added 7 new Nato Tigermeet Patches into the database. 1975, 1977, 1980, 1983, 1987, 1990, 1991.
Mishaps
* Thanks to old Tiger pilot Emmanuel 'Manu' Goossens, I made some corrections to the mishaps-database.The FC-05 crashed on the 12th of May 1980, not in 1969 as said before, also it was not Manu Goossen who crashed, but Second Lieutenant Michel "Smirnoff" Goossens.
Further the FU-100 crashed with First Sergeant Jo Boonen, not Bonne...
Last, the crash with pilot Naets was not a 31 crash as Naets was a Devil at that time, so I deleted that one from the database.
