News
* A little bit late but on the 14th of March the 5 F-16s with 31 Tiger pilots took off from Sion, Switzerland to the sunny Solenzara on Corse (France). From the 14th until the 18th of March they held several exercises together with their fellow Tigers from France (1/12) such as 4v6 (4 Belgian F-16s againts 6 French Mirages), CAS (Close Air Support) etc...
* From the 25th of May until the 3rd of June 31 squadron, together with 349 and 350 squadron, participated the international ELITE 2005 exercise in Germany.
* The Air- and LandComponent had low-level flights above the province Luxemburg. This exercise, named 'Green Hill 2/05' took place from Monday the 7th until Friday the 10th of June. Exercise Green Hill 2/05 was a bilateral exercise between Belgium and the Netherlands that means the end of the training for the FAC-students and also the end of a six week course at the 'Dutch Air to Ground Operations School' of Schaarbergen (NL).
* On the 27th of June NATO's largest live flying exercise in Central-Europe began. Until the 8th of July over 14 countries participate in the international exercise called 'Clean Hunter 2005'. Also the 31 Tiger squadron participates.
Pictures
* Another wallpapers of the new Tiger F-16 (FA-94) by Air Defence Controller and dedicated spotter Dirk Voortmans.
* Dirk also mailed me 2 new wallpapers of last years Tiger F-16.
* Dirk Voortmans and Michael Stolle presented some wallpapers of Johns 2005 demo.
* Dirk Geuns was present at the Kleine Brogel photocall and made some nice pictures of the FA-94 in 2005 tigerscheme.
Memorabilia
* 2 new patches were added to the database. The first is a patch designed by the 31 sqn crew (groundkeepers), the second one is the ELITE 2005 patch.
* At last I completed the 31 Tigers squadronprints database. The last one I needed was the FA-62 in Nato Tigermeet 1985 colors.
* Alex Barina made a nice scale model of the FX-52 in Nato Tigermeet 1978 colors. Fullcolored, Barinas website, would be pleased to reacive any Special color Model pictures.
* 31 won the trophy 'Best Flying Squadron' at the 2004 and 2005 Nato Tigermeet, an image of each trophy can now be found in the memorabilia-section.
