Anybody who has a Tamron 28-300mm lens Is this a good lens , I mean fast focus and good photo quality. I'm very interested in this lens and this could be an excellent allround lens for me , on my Canon DSLR this would become a 42-450mm lens , ideal for spotting at locations where you have to change many times your lens Thanks in advantage for your help.

I have bought now this lense ;D and my first impressions are that this is a great all round lense which is able to make neat and sharp photos , the photos from my trip to BRU on the 2nd January which can be found on this forum and my website are all made with this lense.
This isn't the best lense to spot but for this price you won't find any better , and you don't have to change each time you lenses , with this 28-300mm I have on my digital SLR camera a +/- 45mm - 480mm lens ;D

it seems to be a very good lens, and it's indeed important NOT having to switch to mutch you're lens in the field, dust is a DSLR worst enemy
