Who can help me... best regards Arno Cornelissen I have my Canon EOS 300D since February and am very happy with it...only min point being the dust dots you have to take away from the CMOS sensor but that's a problem with all the DSLR's. Even if you carefully change a lens there will always be some small dust parts getting into the camera and then you can have really dissapointing dots on your photos , ask Mr. Vonsmalhausen he can tell you everything about it... Further , with DSLR's you have a crop factor , in case of Canon it's 1,6. This means a 300mm lens becomes a 480mm lens ;D If you need more info we'll certainly will met at Volkel , I can show you my camera PS Will you be there with a stand of the GIlze-Rijen spotters ?

if you have some time to wait : Minolta is planning to bring out a DSLR soon (probably round september) if you have Minolta lenses, you can use them on this digital body + Minolta has the imagestabilisation system in the BODY, not in the lenses ; so all your lenses woud be stabilised ones the Canon 10D II wil be avaleble then also if it has to go quick : price / quality you have the Canon 300D or Nikon D70 a bit more sophisticated (and expensifer) Canon 10D and Nikon D100 if you buy now i advise you a Canon 300D ; it's the cheapest, but verry good, and prices of DSLR's wil drop in the nearby futhure, so if you by a cam like the 10D now at about 1500€, you wil be verry dissapointed to find out in just a couple of months that you can have the same for halve of price. other reason ; my cam is only 8 months old, but by doing wrong things like blowing to hard and to close on the ccd and willing to clean the matt glas whit a brusch and some other stupidity's like that, i wil have to buy a new one soon : it's better to learn "the hard way" on a cheaper model than the rather expensive ones
