went last year too , and must say there were lots of nice warbirds , only problem is that this is not an airshow , so don't expect any display , only planes who are arriving on Saturday can be photographed in flight and what's more , you can't get next to the runway , you are standing at the end of the runway , so you see them flying over your head and then they come back to taxi to their stand , anyway , you can make great photos but it's not the kind of airshows we had in the past at Ursel PS I will get a VIP/press card for this event ;D

Gents, Wings And Wheels 2005 will be, due the high security norms, on the side of the two consession holding aeroclubs. An avantage for the Wings Unit because we have a splendid location now to present a unique static show. The theme's 60 year VE-DAY (Victory in Europe) and 65 year Battle Of Britain gives us a lot of "possible" participation. If you take a view on the www.wingsandwheels.be website, you can notice already some aircraft, but the BIG aircraft list will be put on the net on the end of May. From the Belgian Defence for instance we espect the participation of Seaking, F-16, A-Jet, Marchetti, Agusta... but officialy we have no news. Warbird that we have in contact: Catalina, B-25, Spitfire, Mustang, A-26, ME-109, Avenger, Yak9, ... And be sure that the wheels unit will be unique too this year. So, 400 vehicles, 400 militaria fair stands, 40 historical aircraft/warbirds and 20 re-enactment groupes result in a unique and fantastic event. BE THERE! KP WINGS UNIT WINGS AND WHEELS 2005
