Went to the "Airshow" today. I must say I was a little disappointed. The static line-up was not favorable for the photographers (sun in front of you and planes put all on one line) . Furthermore the display of the MiG29 was cancelled (and exactly that display I really wanted to see) . Fortunately there was a positive side on this day. I met the following forum-members first time in person: Djamald (with his wife and son) and Kris. And there also some die-hards I met before: Fabke (with his wife and daughter) and his friend Frank, Vonsmalhausen, Guillaume. It was nice to talk to all of you guys (and girls) . Of course we had our traditional drink ;D ;D Greetz Jumbo

I would like to apologize to all the fine people hre for not turning up today. Apart from 'logistical' reasons, I've also been feeling quite down and anti-sociable for the past 2 weeks or so so I decided that perhaps it wasn't a good idea to join the group. Hopefully next time

After a long ride (d**n E40) finally back at home. It was indeed very nice to meet you guys: Fabke (+wife and daughter), Frank, Djamald (+wife and son) and Jumbo. ;D I was very disappointed too that the MIG didn't fly and it was a pity that they fell out of beer too soon in our neighbourhood . Luckily enough we still were able to walk to get some ;D Hope to meet you all again sometime, hopefully with the sun in our back next time.

Just a small correction , you didn't met Chrisse(Kris) but Bert Ooops, I don't know why I wrote Kris in stead of Bert . Probably because of the long ride home after the show (many traffic jams) , certainly it had nothing to do with the drinks we had ;D . Thanks for pointing me out Fabke . Greetz, Jumbo

Yep, it was good to finally stick some faces to names. Poor show, but with a very relaxed atmospere . There is not always a need for running from one place to another for the best shots. I hope we can repeat this and with more members.

Hey guys , When I see these comments over here I wish that I could be there to on sunday. Probably I went on saturday and saw the MIG 29. For the rest; a very poor show this year Of course...there's no other show where U can see 6 times (or even more) a take off of a Embrear, heli's at a distance of +/- 300m and the sun for a hole day in your face .
